The Big-Five model of personality traits is the most popular model among personality psychologists. The Arcus Personality Assessor (APA) is a personality test to see how candidates score on the Big Five personality dimensions, as well as more specific personality facets in context of desired leadership competencies for a position. In addition, each of the Big Five Personality Dimensions are broken into several smaller facets, or sub-components.

How do candidates see themselves? Candidates will be presented with several statements that may or may not describe themselves and their personality. They will rate the extent to which each statement accurately describes their current personality, not as they wish to be in the future.
